Milk essence (Non-Dairy or Dairy Creamers) is the main ingredient in bubble tea. Ten cups of fresh milk cannot match the taste of a teaspoon of milk essence.The main ingredient of milk essence is hygrogenated vegetable oil, a type of transfat(11)(17). Experts says that a glass of 500ml of bubble tea a day far exceed the allowable limit of transfat for any person(2grams a day)(7). It will lead to heart and blood vessel diseases.(2)

Milk essence gives the bubble tea the fragrance and make it tasty. The fragrance and tastiness derived from a type of chemical. This chemical has trace of arsenic, lead, copper and many harmful minerals(6)(9)(10).Long term consumption can lead to heart and blood vessel disease, cancer, asthma and other health complications.(5)

In addition, the syrup used for the bubble tea was found to be contaminated with with the cancer-causing plastic additive diethylhexyl phthalate.(12)(13)

Consuming the black bubbles pearls is equivalent to consuming plastic. Normally these bubbles were made from casava (tapioca) powder, which could lead to cyanide poisoning if not properly processed (8). This alone does not give the rubbery texture. To make it more rubbery, millet protein is added. Some “black hearted” businessmen felt that this is still not rubbery enough. so, an artificial plastic powder is added. This type of artificial plastic material will never be digested and absorbed into the body, and bear in mind, plastic is toxic to your body if consumed. It will remain in the body and cause havoc to our health. You can imagine what will happen to your health after prolonged consumption of transfat and plastic!!!!(3) (4)

In addition, a standard Bubble Tea with milk and pearls contains roughly 250-380 calories (Thats an Average calorie for a slice of pizza) in just a 12-16 oz serving.It means that Bubble Tea is a one way ticket to Obe-City (obesity). Lets compare this drink to a Starbucks Nonfat Iced Vanilla Latte 12oz at 120 calories. (14)(15)(16)

Based on the Health Promotion Board’s (HPB) guidelines, we should limit our sugar fix to 10 per cent of our daily energy intake. That’s approximately 40g to 55g (eight to 11 teaspoons) a day. Puncanye last week la gie shopping toiletries kat Tesco Mutiara Damansara..gegurl mmg suke gie sana kalau nak beli toiletries..mok mok pulak ikutkan aje kehendak bini die nieh..tp kalau nak ke sana mesti nak kene tgh2 malam sbb x ramai sgt org..xsuke la crowded2 nie..tahap kesabaran gegurl x mcm tahap kesabaran mok mok..cepat sgt naik hangin kalau tetibe ade org duk menghalang jalan n tetibe suke2 main stop x tgk org belakang..some more nak parking pun senang xyah nak pusing berpuluh2 kali, xyah nak jadi saiko stalk org yg nak gie kat kete dieorg utk dapatkan parking, nak queue utk bayo pun xde kene beratur panjang..weekdays Tesco tutup kul 12am..weekends plak 1am..

Nana mia ade menang contest Rawang Burger Bakar nie kat FB..so adiahnye dpt makan free 5 burger Ombak Rindu some more dpt privilege utk x beratur sekali belanja..hahaha..so dgn baik hatinye nana mia ajak2 kami gurlfriends gie makan Rawan Burger Bakar nie..time tuh semua bwk partner masing2 (kecuali nana mia sbb amrul ade kat kluang) sbb dh alang2kan xyah nak beratur berjam2 bagaikan semata2 nak makan burger..tmpt Rawang Burger Bakar nie kat Arena Cafe Wangsa Maju..sederet ngan NZ lama yg kat bwh tuh n ujung sekali kat corner..ex-shop Ani Sup Utara..ex-shop nyeah, ntah hape2 ntah ayat..;p

Rawang Burger Bakar nie not bad la..isi tebal tp saiz kecik..kalau saiz daging tuh sebesar roti dh ngam dh..after balik je makan Rawang Burger Bakar kat Arena Cafe Wangsa Maju nie kan, kiteorg bawak balik sekali ngan bau asap yg melekat kat baju masing..hilang bau perfume asal..bau mcm baru lps wat BBQ kat mana2 jer..agak stuffy la sebenarnye tmpt kat situ sbb kiteorg duk dlm..

Semalam 5.30 je mmg dh meluru nak balik keje dh..perut dh lapo n mmg tahap kebulur dh..terbayang2 masakan mak terchenta kat umah tuh..xkisah la mak masak ape pun semua sedap..simple mcm mana pun ttp marvelous..masak sardin pun sodaplah sonang cito..

So tgh berjln nak gie kat kete kol la mok mok..ngadu2 pasal kete yg mcm dh nak kehabisan battery..kete jerking bile drive la, bile nak start mcm xleh start la, itu la, ini la..mmg speaking of the devil betul la, sekali betul2 xleh nak start tau kete..hamek ko kete wat hal..hadoooooooo..terus stress gile time tuh xtau ape nak wat..workshop mmg byk kat area opis nie tp segan la plak kan nk mintak tolong..so to cut the story short, mok mok la yg kene dtg utk rescue..

Perut dh la tgh lapo tahap gaban punye..nasib baik la ade penyelamat chocolate moist cake balance yg makan kat dlm opis tuh..hehe..so sementara tunggu mok mok mmg melantak itu jer la..lama gak la tunggu mok mok nak smp opis nie..ade la nak dekat 2 jam..dr cerah smp gelap dh..dekat kul 8 baru mok mok smp..mmg standard pun time ari2 berkerja NKVE jammed starting from Kota Damansara exit until Subang exit..

Bile mok mok dh smp kan, die siap beli lg battery kete konon2 nak tukar la..sekali ntah kenapa tetibe mok mok goyang2 skit kepala cable battery tuh n then bg kunci suruh cube start kete..halamakkkk..sekali leh start la plak kan..wat hal la..kalau tau dr awal dh buat dh..xyah nak tunggu smp malam2 sorang kat dlm kete..xyah mok mok dtg jauh2 semata2..sorry je manjang time tuh kat mok mok..nasib baik mok mok x marah..hadooooooo..bikin panas jer..

nie la battery yg wat hal tuh..pasal battery nie la i've lost my shoe allowance..;(

First time sebenarnye nak bersua muke ngan mamatisya..sebelum nie jmp dlm blog jer..hehehe..so bile masing2 dh smp bermula la suai kenal sesama sendri..ngeeeeee..tetibe lak leh borak2 ngan mamatisya mcm dh kenal lama..xde pun rase awkward ke ape..segan2 ke, shy2 cat pun xde..borak mcm biasa jer..sgt2 sempoi mamatisya nie..hehehe..so bile sesi suai kenal dh abis mmg terus masing2 diberi tugasan beli makanan n minuman..gegurl gie beli char kuey teaw..diah gie beli nasi lemak..nana mia beli air..mamatisya tolong jaga handbag..nana keding beli makanan sendri sbb die kompius nak makan ape..;D

Bile dh abis makan seperti biasa la bermulalah sesi bergambo..xsah kalau x tadah muke kat camera nie..ehhh,tp x abis makan pun dh start tadah muke..hahahaha..
